Our goal is to protect and promote local skate culture, making sure the Menasha Skate Park stays awesome for years to come. We're all about bringing the skate community together, especially with young people.
We help out by giving gear to kids who can't afford it, so everyone can join in on the fun
Helping Our Parks
All funds raised from the Murph Comp or other fundraising events go directly to the Chris Murphy Memorial Fund for The Menasha Skate Park.
Currently, these funds are utilized by the City of Menasha to maintain and enhance the park located at Hart Park in Menasha, Wisconsin.
Community Involvement
The Chris Murphy Memorial Fund for The Menasha Skatepark continues to grow significantly each year.
Our goal is to increase our influence by reaching out more, ramping up fundraising efforts, and assisting other local skate community nonprofits financially.

WHAT IS MURPH COMP?
Established in 2017
Murph Comp was founded in 2017 to honor the legacy of Chris Murphy, who spearheaded efforts in his youth to advocate for the local skate community with his friends by regularly attending city meetings. Their persistence ensured that their voices, along with those of other skate enthusiast, were acknowledged.
This endeavor culminated in the planning and construction of the Menasha Skatepark in November 2002.
Without Chris and his friends, the skatepark may not exist today.
This Competition is FIRE
Each year, the event happens at Menasha Skate Park in Hart Park, Menasha, Wisconsin. It's a fun time for everyone, with a free skateboard competition that welcomes families and people of any age.
Skateboarders and even those who don't skate can have a great time here. We have different contests for different ages and skills, and winners get cool prizes.
And thanks to our sponsors, there's a free merch toss at the end of the competition!
